9 from the public utilities commission motor carrier fund established in
10 section 40-2-110.5 as are necessary to be expended by the commission to
11 accomplish said purposes.".

9 "SECTION 9. Appropriation. (1) For the 2017-18 state fiscal
10 year, $22,812 is appropriated to the department of regulatory agencies.
11 This appropriation consists of $9,695 from the public utilities commission
695 12 fixed utility fund created in section 40-2-114 (1)(b)(II), C.R.S., $9,
114 13 from the telecommunication utility fund created in section 40-2-
14 (1)(b)(I), C.R.S., and $3,422 from the public utilities commission motor
15 carrier fund created in section 40-2-110.5 (6), C.R.S. To implement this
16 act, the department may use this appropriation for the purchase of legal
17 services.
18 (2) For the 2017-18 state fiscal year, $22,812 is appropriated to
19 the department of law. This appropriation is from reappropriated funds
20 received from the department of regulatory agencies under subsection (1)
21 of this section and is based on an assumption that the department of law
22 will require an additional 0.1 FTE. To implement this act, the department
23 of law may use this appropriation to provide legal services for the
24 department of regulatory agencies.".
