5 HB16-1017 be amended as follows, and as so amended, be referred to
6 the Committee of the Whole with favorable
7 recommendation:

9 Amend printed bill, page 2, line 6, after "panels." insert "(a)".

11 Page 2, strike lines 9 and 10 and substitute "approved by the court, for
12 which the fee assessed to the person shall not exceed twenty-five FIFTY
13 dollars.
14 (b) ON JULY 1, 2017, AND ON EACH JULY 1 THEREAFTER, THE
15 MAXIMUM FEE ESTABLISHED IN PARAGRAPH (a) OF THIS SUBSECTION (12)
16 IS ADJUSTED BY THE ANNUAL PERCENTAGE CHANGE IN THE UNITED
17 STATES DEPARTMENT OF LABOR, BUREAU OF LABOR STATISTICS,
18 CONSUMER PRICE INDEX FOR DENVER-BOULDER, ALL ITEMS, ALL URBAN
19 CONSUMERS, OR ITS SUCCESSOR INDEX.".
