43 Amend printed bill, page 5, after line 26 insert:

45 "SECTION 3. Appropriation. (1) For the 2017-18 state fiscal
46 year, $26,374 is appropriated to the legislative department. This
47 appropriation is from the general fund. To implement this act, the
48 department may use this appropriation as follows:
49 (a) $16,879 for the legislative council, which amount is based on
50 an assumption that the council will require an additional 0.3 FTE;
51 (b) $6,873 for the committee on legal services, which amount is
1 52 based on the assumption that the committee will require an additional 0.
53 FTE; and
54 (c) $2,622 for use by the general assembly for legislative member
55 per diem.".
