After consideration on the merits, the Committee recommends that HB20-1095 be
amended as follows, and as so amended, be referred to the Committee of the Whole with
favorable recommendation.
Amend engrossed billl, page 5, after line 25 insert:
"SECTION 3. Appropriation. (1) For the 2020-21 state fiscal
year, $26,215 is appropriated to the department of local affairs for use by
the division of local government. This appropriation is from the general
fund. To implement this act, the division may use this appropriation as
follows:
(a) $24,066 for personal services, which amount is based on an
assumption that the division will require an additional 0.5 FTE; and
(b) $2,149 for operating expenses.".
Renumber succeeding section accordingly.
