medical services that would otherwise be reimbursable under the medical assistance
program.


Amendment No. 1(L.003), by Senator Jaquez Lewis.

Amend reengrossed bill, page 3, line 4, strike "SECTION." and substitute
"SECTION, AND SO LONG AS THE PROVISIONS OF THIS SUBSECTION (3)(b) ARE
NOT PROHIBITED UNDER FEDERAL LAW.".

Page 3, after line 23 insert:

"(III) THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH CARE POLICY AND FINANCING
SHALL SEEK ANY FEDERAL AUTHORIZATION NECESSARY UNDER THE MEDICAL
ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, ESTABLISHED IN ARTICLES 4, 5, AND 6 OF TITLE 25.5, FOR
PURPOSES OF THIS SUBSECTION (3)(b).".
