5 Amend printed bill, page 3, after line 16 insert:

7 "SECTION 2. Appropriation. (1) For the 2022-23 state fiscal
8 year, $112,668 is appropriated to the department of health care policy and
9 financing. This appropriation is from the general fund. To implement this
10 act, the department may use this appropriation as follows:
11 (a) $33,720 for use by the executive director's office for personal
12 services, which amount is based on an assumption that the office will
13 require an additional 1.0 FTE;
14 (b) $3,775 for use by the executive director's office for operating
15 expenses; and
16 (c) $75,173 for medical and long-term care services for Medicaid
17 eligible individuals, which amount is subject to the "(M)" notation as
18 defined in the annual general appropriation act for the same fiscal year.
19 (2) For the 2022-23 state fiscal year, the general assembly
20 anticipates that the department of health care policy and financing will
21 receive $112,668 in federal funds. The appropriation in subsection (1) of
22 this section is based on the assumption that the office will receive this
23 amount of federal funds to be used as follows:
24 (a) $33,720 for use by the executive director's office for personal
25 services, which amount is subject to the "(I)" notation as defined in the
26 annual general appropriation act for the same fiscal year;
27 (b) $3,775 for use by the executive director's office for operating
28 expenses, which amount is subject to the "(I)" notation as defined in the
29 annual general appropriation act for the same fiscal year; and
30 (c) $75,173 for medical and long-term care services for Medicaid
31 eligible individuals.".

27 ARE ESTABLISHED PURSUANT TO SUBSECTION (5)(a) OF THIS SECTION, THE
28 STATE DEPARTMENT MAY ENGAGE IN A STAKEHOLDER PROCESS TO
29 DETERMINE THE NEED FOR ADDITIONAL ACCOUNTABILITY OF A QUALIFIED
30 COMPLEX REHABILITATION TECHNOLOGY SUPPLIER THROUGH FINANCIAL
31 PENALTIES, AUDITS, OR SIMILAR TOOLS, FOR VIOLATIONS OF THE REPAIR
32 METRICS RULES. IF SUCH A STAKEHOLDER PROCESS IS CONVENED, THE
33 PROCESS MUST INCLUDE QUALIFIED COMPLEX REHABILITATION
34 TECHNOLOGY PROFESSIONALS, QUALIFIED COMPLEX REHABILITATION
35 TECHNOLOGY SUPPLIERS, COMPLEX REHABILITATION CLIENTS, AND AN
36 ADVOCACY GROUP FOR PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES.".
