55 Amend page 16, after line 22 insert:
1 "SECTION 6. Appropriation. (1) For the 2022-23 state fiscal
2 year, $3,000,000 is appropriated to the department of human services for
3 use by administration and finance. This appropriation is from the
228 4 economic recovery and relief cash fund created in section 24-75-
5 (2)(a), C.R.S., and is of money the state received from the federal
6 coronavirus state fiscal recovery fund. To implement this act,
7 administration and finance may use this appropriation for IT systems
8 interoperability.
9 (2) For the 2022-23 state fiscal year, $2,000,000 is appropriated to
10 the department of human services for use by the office of economic
11 security. This appropriation is from the economic recovery and relief cash
12 fund created in section 24-75-228 (2)(a), C.R.S., and is of money the state
13 received from the federal coronavirus state fiscal recovery fund. To
14 implement this act, the office of economic security may use this
15 appropriation for fuel assistance payments related to food and energy
16 assistance.
17 (3) For the 2022-23 state fiscal year, $1,000,000 is appropriated to
18 the department of human services for use by the office of economic
19 security. This appropriation is from the economic recovery and relief cash
20 fund created in section 24-75-228 (2)(a), C.R.S., and is of money the state
21 received from the federal coronavirus state fiscal recovery fund. To
22 implement this act, the office of economic security may use this
23 appropriation for electronic benefits transfer programming related to food
24 and energy assistance.
25 (4) For the 2022-23 state fiscal year, $1,000,000 is appropriated to
26 the department of agriculture for use by agricultural services. This
27 appropriation is from the economic recovery and relief cash fund created
28 in section 24-75-228 (2)(a), C.R.S., is of money the state received from
29 the federal coronavirus state fiscal recovery fund, and is based on an
30 assumption that agricultural services will require an additional 1.8 FTE.
31 To implement this act, agricultural services may use this appropriation for
32 the community food access program. Any money appropriated in this
33 section not expended prior to July 1, 2023, is further appropriated to
34 agricultural services from July 1, 2023, through December 30, 2024, for
35 the same purpose.
36 (5) For the 2022-23 state fiscal year, $7,000,000 is appropriated to
37 the department of agriculture for use by agricultural services. This
38 appropriation is from the economic recovery and relief cash fund created
39 in section 24-75-228 (2)(a), C.R.S., and is of money the state received
40 from the federal coronavirus state fiscal recovery fund. To implement this
41 act, agricultural services may use this appropriation for the small food
42 business recovery and resilience grant program and outreach. Any money
43 appropriated in this section not expended prior to July 1, 2023, is further
44 appropriated to agricultural services from July 1, 2023, through
45 December 30, 2024, for the same purpose.".
