6 HB23-1305 be amended as follows, and as so amended, be referred to

10 Amend printed bill, page 4, after line 13 insert:

12 "SECTION 2. Appropriation. For the 2023-24 state fiscal year,
13 $150,000 is appropriated to the department of the treasury for use by the
14 special purpose division. This appropriation is from the law enforcement
15 officers' and firefighters' continuation of benefits fund created in section
16 24-36-122 (6)(a), C.R.S. To implement this act, the division may use this
17 appropriation for the law enforcement officers' and firefighters'
18 continuation of health benefits program.".

20 Renumber succeeding section accordingly.

22 Page 1, line 104, strike "DEATH." and substitute "DEATH, AND, IN
23 CONNECTION THEREWITH, MAKING AN APPROPRIATION.".
