27 "SECTION 3. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 24-32-729, add
28 (3)(i) as follows:
29 24-32-729. Transformational affordable housing through local
30 investments - grant program - investments eligible for funding -
31 report - definitions - repeal. (3) (i) TO MITIGATE THE SEVERE HOUSING
32 CHALLENGES IN RURAL COMMUNITIES AND RURAL RESORT COMMUNITIES,
33 A PROJECT IN A RURAL COMMUNITY OR RURAL RESORT COMMUNITY THAT
34 IS SUBSIDIZED BY A GRANT AWARD MAY PRIORITIZE PROVIDING
35 AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR ENROLLED POSTSECONDARY STUDENTS, LOCAL
36 COLLEGE DISTRICT EMPLOYEES, AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES IN
37 BUILDINGS ON LAND OWNED AND CONTROLLED BY A LOCAL COLLEGE
38 DISTRICT.".
