After consideration on the merits, the Committee recommends that HB24-1176 be
amended as follows, and as so amended, be referred to the Committee on Appropriations
with favorable recommendation.
Amend reengrossed bill, page 3, after line 2 insert:

"SECTION 2. In Colorado Revised Statutes, 24-75-230, add (2)(c) as
follows:
(2) (c) ON JULY 1, 2024, THE STATE TREASURER SHALL TRANSFER FOUR
MILLION DOLLARS FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE FUND, WHICH MUST BE
EXPENDED FOR THE PURPOSES SPECIFIED IN SECTION 27-60-502 (2)(c)(I)(D).".

Renumber succeeding section accordingly.

After consideration on the merits, the Committee recommends that HB24-1176 be
amended as follows, and as so amended, be referred to the Committee of the Whole with
favorable recommendation and with a recommendation that it be placed on the Consent
Calendar.

Amend reengrossed bill, page 3, before line 3 insert:

"SECTION 2. Appropriation. For the 2024-25 state fiscal year,
$4,000,000 is appropriated to the department of human services for use by the
behavioral health administration. This appropriation is from the behavioral and
mental health cash fund created in section 24-75-230 (2)(a), C.R.S. To
implement this act, the administration may use this appropriation for the
behavioral health-care continuum gap grant program related to integrated
behavioral health services.".

Renumber succeeding section accordingly.
