51 state constitution against this act or an item, section, or part of this act
52 within the ninety-day period after final adjournment of the general
53 assembly, then the act, item, section, or part will not take effect unless
54 approved by the people at the general election to be held in November
55 2026 and, in such case, will take effect July 1, 2027.
1 (2) This act applies to registrations made on or after January 1,
2 2028.".
