After consideration on the merits, the Committee recommends that SB19-225 be amended
as follows, and as so amended, be referred to the Committee of the Whole with favorable
recommendation.
Amend printed bill, page 3, line 21, strike "BY" and substitute
"ALTHOUGH SENATE BILL 19-225, ENACTED IN 2019, DOES NOT CREATE,
AND IS NOT INTENDED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO CREATE, A
STATEWIDE RENT CONTROL POLICY, BY".
Page 3, lines 22 and 23, strike "19-___, ENACTED IN 2019," and substitute
"19-225,".
