After consideration on the merits, the Committee recommends that SB21-158 be amended
as follows, and as so amended, be referred to the Committee on Appropriations with
favorable recommendation.
Amend printed bill, page 6, strike lines 2 through 11 and substitute "TRAINING
PROGRAM;".
Page 6, strike lines 18 through 23 and substitute:
"(II) POSTGRADUATE CLINICAL EXPERIENCE WITH AN EMPHASIS ON TIME
SPENT PROVIDING GERIATRIC CARE; OR".

SELECTING GERIATRIC ADVANCED PRACTICE PROVIDER APPLICANTS AND SHALL
CONSIDER WHETHER THE APPLICANT IS WILLING TO SERVE AS A PRECEPTOR FOR
ADVANCED".

Renumber succeeding sections accordingly.
Page 14, after line 7 insert:
"SECTION 9. Appropriation. For the 2021-22 state fiscal year,
$400,000 is appropriated to the Colorado health service corps fund created in
section 25-1.5-506 (1), C.R.S. This appropriation is from the General Fund. The
department of public health and environment is responsible for the accounting
related to this appropriation.".
