as follows, and as so amended, be referred to the Committee on Appropriations with
favorable recommendation.
Amend printed bill, page 7, line 10, strike "OR".

"(f) MONEY ALLOCATED TO THE GRANT PROGRAM MUST NOT BE
CONSIDERED IN RATE-SETTING FOR FEDERALLY QUALIFIED HEALTH CENTERS, AS
DEFINED IN THE FEDERAL "SOCIAL SECURITY ACT", 42 U.S.C. SEC. 1395X
(aa)(4).
(7) THE STATE DEPARTMENT IS AUTHORIZED TO RECEIVE AND EXPEND
GIFTS, GRANTS, AND DONATIONS FROM INDIVIDUALS, PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS,
FOUNDATIONS, OR ANY GOVERNMENTAL UNIT; EXCEPT THAT NO GIFT, GRANT,
OR DONATION MAY BE ACCEPTED BY THE STATE DEPARTMENT IF IT IS SUBJECT
TO A CONDITION THAT IS INCONSISTENT WITH THIS SECTION OR ANY OTHER LAW
OF THIS STATE.".
Renumber succeeding subsection accordingly.

MEDICAID MEDICAL AND PHARMACY BENEFIT.".

"SECTION 4. Appropriation. (1) For the 2024-25 state fiscal year,
$98,703 is appropriated to the department of health care policy and financing
for use by the executive director's office. This appropriation is from the general
fund. To implement this act, the department may use this appropriation as
follows:
(a) $91,009 for personal services, which amount is based on an
assumption that the department will require an additional 0.8 FTE; and
(b) $7,694 for operating expenses.".
