After consideration on the merits, the Committee recommends that SB25-060 be amended
as follows, and as so amended, be referred to the Committee of the Whole with favorable
recommendation and with a recommendation that it be placed on the Consent Calendar.
Amend printed bill, page 2, line 10, after "FIRE DEPARTMENT," insert "FIRE
DISTRICT,".
Page 2, line 19, strike "(I)".
Page 2, line 20, after "CONTACTS" insert "OR CALLS".
Page 2, line 21, after "ENTITY" insert "AND THE CONTACT OR CALL IS NOT FOR
THE LEGITIMATE REPORTING OF A PUBLIC SAFETY CONCERN, TO REPORT AN
EMERGENCY, OR TO SEEK ASSISTANCE.".
Page 2, lines 21 through 24, strike "AFTER AN EMPLOYEE OF THE PUBLIC SAFETY
EMERGENCY CALL CENTER OR PUBLIC SAFETY ENTITY PROVIDES THE PERSON
WITH A WARNING TO STOP CONTACTING THE CENTER OR ENTITY WITHOUT A
JUSTIFIABLE BASIS.".
