Amend reengrossed bill, page 4, lines 12 through 14, strike "THE MONEY IN THE
FUND IS CONTINUOUSLY APPROPRIATED TO THE DEPARTMENT" and substitute
"SUBJECT TO ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY, THE
DEPARTMENT MAY EXPEND MONEY FROM THE FUND".

As amended, ordered revised and placed on the calendar for third reading and final
passage.

therewith, making an appropriation.

A majority of those elected to the Senate having voted in the affirmative, Senator Kolker
was given permission to offer a third reading amendment.

Third Reading Amendment No. 1(L.010), by Senator Kolker.

Amend revised bill, page 6, after line 2 insert:

"(2) For the 2022-23 state fiscal year, $6,000,000 is appropriated to the
department of public safety for use by the executive director's office. This
appropriation is from reappropriated funds in the school security disbursement
program cash fund under subsection (1) of this section. To implement this act,
the office may use the appropriation for program costs related to the school
safety resource center.".

Renumber succeeding subsections accordingly.
